We enjoyed another visit to Rykas Cafe in Dorking last Sunday. We also celebrated the 7th Anniversary of AOC Sussex, Surrey & Hampshire by releasing our new coaster, with funds going towards the running costs of the club. Thank you to the Rykas team for having us.

Down on the sunshine coast in Eastbourne, we enjoyed catching up over coffee and cake! Making the most of the quiet Sunday morning roads, we drove from Lewes through the South Downs Park ending at the iconic Beachy Head.

We enjoyed our annual visit to Shere Hill Climb event, held in the Surrey Hills near Guildford. The club displayed alongside other car clubs and members enjoyed watching all sorts of vehicles tackling the hill, from a huge inflatable duck to supercars.

Festival Italia 2024 at Brands Hatch was once again a hit with members. Over 150 Abarths parked together, we enjoyed track action from Ferrari. Alfa Romeo and the F1 Historic Demonstration. There was a myriad of Italian food and drink on offer, from pizza to Moretti.

One of our favourite venues, we returned to Torque Moto Cafe near Horsham. A fantastic offering of food and drink, surrounded by Abarths. Some fancied a challenge and took on the racing simulator.

We stepped back in time at Thruxton Race Circuit and experienced the sights and sounds of classic motor racing. We had front row parking on the banking to watch the action, along with Sarah and Marcus doing the lunch time Owners Club Parade Lap.

We were delighted to be invited back to Hever Castle for their annual Fathers Day car show. The club proudly displayed on the Half Moon Lawn, alongside many other car clubs. Members enjoyed roaming the grounds, gardens and lake.

The biggest Abarth event ever held in the UK, with an estimated 650 Abarth in attendance. Alongside many other regional clubs we enjoyed celebrating 75 years of Abarth at Mallory Park Racing Circuit.

Last weekend we gathered at The White Swan in Arundel for a spot of lunch. A new venue to the club, we enjoyed having use of the function room, gardens and surrounding woodland.

Brooklands Italian Car Day in association with Auto Italia magazine returned for its 30th event. Over 150 Abarths were in attendance displaying on the finishing straight and historic banking. There were displays from all Italian marques, with track and test hill demos.
